A typical & atypical type foundry based in Shanghai, conceived in late 2017 by type designers Zheng Chuyang and Li Zhiqian. Possibly the first foundry in China with a specific agenda on multi-script typefaces. The team spans graphic design, typography, printing, computer science, linguistics, anthropology, and history. Also publishes 3typezine, a digital magazine covering type culture.
