Venus+
Each weight of the Venus+ family is inspired by forms induced by technical processes in use during the first half of the 20th century. The weights draw from typewriter design, letterpress printing, stone engraving, and hand-painted lettering techniques. The family honors these historical methods and materials that shaped typographic forms, reviving the Venus typeface originally published by Bauer Type foundry beginning in 1907.
