Latitude & Équateur

A companion pair of typefaces: Latitude features a nervous design with pointed extremities, while Équateur is more contrasted with additional details. Originally created by Ange Degheest circa 1955 as an assistant to character production. The design was inspired by a large parangon typeface engraved by Robert Granjon in the 16th century, sharpening the attacks, exits, and serifs of the original.
