Dederon
Dederon is a book typeface inspired by the Liberta typeface by Herbert Thannehaeuser (Typoart, 1960), borrowing widely spaced uppercase letters, slightly conical stems, and asymmetrical serifs without brackets, while developing a distinctive character rooted in Old Style Roman typefaces with a slanted shading axis and calligraphic touch. Its relatively wide italic has a playful character with generous, softened extensions. It has proven especially effective for books, particularly children's books, at larger sizes.
