Garmalad Font
Garmalad is a distorted, playful Arabic font based on Naskh, with letters deliberately deformed and disintegrated to make a typographic artwork. The name means 'black pepper' in some areas of Guilan, chosen to fit the font's spicy, sharp mood. Letters shift and jump above and below the baseline, and tiny dots and embellishments enhance the feeling; the tight spacing lets the heavy weight impose itself in the frame.
