Mashikaku
A display typeface built on a square framework using only horizontal and vertical strokes, inspired by kakuji, the geometric lettering of Edo-period Japan used on craftsmen's coats and in ukiyo-e. First released in 2017 with later versions in 2025 and a CJK edition planned for 2026; nine weights from Thin to Black.
