Caledonia CC is Matthew Carter's rendition of William Addison Dwiggins' Scotch Roman serif, originally adapted for Time magazine from Linotype's 9-point drawings. It preserves the refined details, sturdy rhythm, and typographic clarity of the original, in Regular and Italic across four optical sizes — Display, Headline, Subhead, and Text — with two variable fonts included. It is well-suited for magazines, newspapers, and long-form reading.
