Wim Crouwel

Pioneering Dutch graphic and type designer known as 'Mr. Gridnik' for his embrace of grid-based design systems. Co-founded Total Design in Amsterdam (1963) and served as design director of the Stedelijk Museum (1963-1985). His experimental typefaces for early computer typesetting and his iconic museum posters remain hugely influential.
