Type designer who studied at KABK in The Hague with Gerrit Noordzij. Founded Dutch Design studio in 1994. Best known for FF DIN typeface (1995), a revival of German DIN 1451 standard. Extended FF DIN with multiple weights, styles, and scripts including Cyrillic, Greek, and Arabic.
