Red Ring
Geometric round grotesque, a brother of an square, 2012. Two families — Red Ring and Red Square — are brothers. They look very much alike — their height, their stroke’s weight, their sets of glyphs. Just where one has rounds another has squares. They are intended to be sold together — one for the main text, another for the italics. The example of such a composing could be seen in the book «DH-JG». Of course brothers can also perform separately, but together is much more interesting: imagine, one of a sudden all the wheels of the text you are reading turn into squares. Hot diggety dog!
