Heather Type King Size
The font for the book "Heather ale", special edition. 2017. This font was designed for the ballad book "Heather Ale" by Robert Louis Stevenson with illustrations by Igor Oleinikov, published by publisher Pavel Snopkov under the brand name "Contact Culture". This is an important project showing that a font can become one of the artistic components of a book, interacting acutely and subtly with illustrations and layout. It is equally important that a complex and unusual font can be conceived and released "at the pace of design", in a matter of weeks, while the layout was taking place.
