From the foundry
Calligraphic italics with a high level of pass play. The font is dedicated to the Barcelona team and its coach Josep Guardiola — the best team and the best coach I have seen in half a century of watching football. GuardiOla's base is the italics of the Guardi font, reworked into a calligraphic script. It is designed exclusively for leisurely manual typing, rather like lettering. This is the only way — by playing a pass, combining, you can achieve what is called "golazo" in Spain: the most effective goal taking
