Citizen M
A super jobbing typeface for the Glyphs palette. 2009. This typeface was ordered by Dima Barbanel for the Citizen K magazine. Choosing from quite a few alterations of vintage letterings a prototype we ended up with a type composition of Boris Markevich from 1972. Hence the name — Citizen M[arkevich]. While keeping the letters’ formation in general, I’ve added call caps, unicase-lowercases, alternate glyphs, ligatures including two-storey ones — not to count of course all the numbers, punctuation marks and other elements of the real typeface. All together 28 letters of Malkovich’s typeface resulted in 721 glyphs of the Citizen.
