Bazaarban
An super accidental typeface which is set through Glyphs palette. 2009. A typeface for the Harper’s Bazaar magazine, ordered by art director Dima Barbanel — which found its reflection in the name. It may be the weirdest from all the custom-designed jobbing typefaces I’ve ever created. Every letter in it has at least 3-4 (up to 9) alternates. It has letters with left inclinations and right inclinations, with proper and improper distributions of characters’ thickness. It has deliberate lacunas in the series of characters to not let the designer feel too relaxed.
