BER Hausschrift
Extensive exclusive type family for the corporate design of Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), developed by xplicit with Georg Seifert for Schindler Parent Identity Berlin (article dated 2010). Serif and sans variants in four and two weights, display and office fonts, and special front-lit and back-lit cuts for the passenger wayfinding system; supports Latin plus Hebrew, Cyrillic and Greek. Its characteristic 'take-off and landing' stroke forms are the family's signature. Awarded a Red Dot in 2012.
