CDL collects the typefaces made during a June workshop at the Club de Diseño Latinoamérica, where participants met weekly to learn about type and design one. Each participant drew a typeface from A to Z, learning orthogonal drawing, rules of construction and the harmony of the formal system. The results — Baldosa, Gritito, Kelly, Liceo, Malula, Merken, Mirina, Norma, Protectora, Scorpio, Talagante, Vasco and Vulca — are simple and perfectible works, full of motivation, improvisation and intuition.
