History
History is a display typeface published by Typotheque. It is one of 199 typefaces from Typotheque in the Type.lol catalog, 16 of them display.
From the foundry
Based on a skeleton of Roman inscriptional capitals, History includes 21 layers inspired by the evolution of typography. These independent typefaces share widths and metric information so they can be recombined, generating thousands of unique styles. Most interesting results come from combining seemingly incompatible elements — pixel letters with Didot-like serifs, or 19th-century slab serifs on top of a renaissance construction.
