Garabosse
Garabosse is a typeface family developed from 16th-century French printing models, inspired by the work of Claude Garamont, Robert Granjon, Simon de Colines, and Pierre Haultin, drawing on facsimiles collected in Hendrik Vervliet's French Renaissance Printing Types: A Conspectus. Each style aims to restore the specificity of forms according to their original body size, including the imprecision of small punches and the accidents of printing. It features inclusive ligatures and rewrites the history of typography, inserting contemporary queer narratives into an old typographic design.
