Calypso I
Calypso I is a serif typeface published by Typolar in 2010, designed by Jarno Lukkarila. It is one of 14 typefaces from Typolar in the Type.lol catalog, 8 of them serif.
From the foundry
Calypso I is inspired by some old decorative wood printing types. Instead of copy-catting their forms, it rather reinterprets how Tuscan style decoration can fit in the realm of a sturdy Slab Serif typeface.
