From the foundry
Tubqal Pro is a tri-script type family supporting Tifinagh, Maghribi-based Arabic, and Latin scripts. Commissioned by the Khatt Foundation as part of the Typographic Matchmaking in the Maghrib 3.0 project, it fosters cultural dialogue and enhances local design skills. The Tubqal Arabic is based on Maghribi Mabsout, an Arabic sub-style used for Qur'an and extensive reading texts, featuring low contrast and similarities with Kufic. Both Latin and Tifinagh components were redrawn with consistent stroke modulation and contrast.
