Uddkyo
A universal design (UD) typeface developed for digital textbooks and ICT education. It is based on handwriting with a pen or ballpoint rather than brush calligraphy, preserving stroke direction and the shape of dots and sweeps while reducing stroke-width contrast, with consideration for low vision and dyslexia. Its skeleton follows textbook-appropriate handwriting rather than conventional gakusan (textbook-style) glyph forms based on Mincho or Gothic.
