Teranoptia
Teranoptia is a unique typeface without traditional letters—a peculiar contraption that allows you to imagine chimeric creatures simply by typing letters on your keyboard. Inspired by medieval bestiaries, the Bayeux Tapestry, and medieval illustrations, each letter forms part of a creature. Combining them invokes ligatures that result in strange, fantastical beasts. Designed by Ariel Martín Pérez and freely distributed through Tunera Type Foundry, Teranoptia represents playful experimentation with letterform design and typographic possibility.
