Maria Connected & Unconnected
Maria Connected and Maria Unconnected are typefaces from Threedotstype whose letterforms are shaped using FIDU technology—an experimental process for creating metal objects with air pressure, patented by designer Oskar Zięta. Designed for wayfinding systems, the typeface comes in two complementary styles. Maria Connected features flowing, linked letterforms, while Maria Unconnected breaks letters into distinct, separated elements. The comprehensive glyph set includes dozens of arrows and pictograms specially designed for navigation applications. Beyond the digital fonts, physical blown metal letters are available for purchase, produced on request in Inox and RAL 7021 dark grey matte finishes.
