Fagun Newspaper Specimen
Fagun is a humanist sans-serif with calligraphic roots. The method combines broad nib pen-style strokes with straight-line geometry to form a compelling and coherent typeface suitable for long lines of text. Available in 14 styles (Light to Black with matching italics), plus variable font support. Features small caps and alternate lowercase characters. Fagun is an intentional misspelling of Fagin, the infamous leader from Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, reflecting its Victorian-inspired design influences. Winner of the Certificate of Typographic Excellence at TDC69 (2023).
