From the foundry
Faagathi Dheli is a Thaana typeface featuring letterforms inspired by handwritten manuscripts of the early 1900s, a period of economic optimism in the Maldives marked by longer letter tails, larger line heights, and generous margins. Its style reflects the first written constitution of the Maldives and draws on manuscripts by the scholar Salaahuddin.
