Yle Next
Custom typeface for the Finnish broadcaster Yle covering all its communication and branding, with functionality, readability, accessibility and recognisability as the goals. A grotesk construction with humanist touches: diagonal terminals, round shapes joining stems in a humanist way and personality in the f and g. The weight and style set was tailored to Yle and includes a variable font for its text-heavy web and app use.
