RYM explores the relationship between stitches and pixels in a set of distinctive capital letters. Originally based on a second-hand book on embroidery, RYM draws from classic grid systems and traditional script forms but overrides their rules and conventions. This deliberate departure from established typographic traditions creates a unique visual character suitable for display and stylistic applications where distinctiveness and personality are paramount.
