Clementite
Clementite is a display typeface published by Silly Type Foundry in 2022. It is one of 5 typefaces from Silly Type Foundry in the Type.lol catalog.
From the foundry
The typeface was created through workshops at Malévoz psychiatric hospital in Switzerland, developed collaboratively between artist François Dey and patients. The design process involved experimentation with wild clematis plants—harvesting, braiding, and bending them to form letters—exploring the alphabet as a common structure and tool for expression.
