Stoker
Stoker began as a revival of Miller & Richard’s all-caps Oldstyle Antique No. 6, commissioned by Post Studio for boutique hotel Haddington House. But then we began to wonder what a lowercase and figures might look like. The forms are wide, with exaggerated x-height and open counters. Contrast is pronounced, though not too extreme for text setting. Given the fanglike serifs, it seemed reasonable to name the expanded face after Dracula’s creator.
