Elite

Elite was designed by Aldo Novarese and first cast by Nebiolo in 1968. It belongs to the family of 'written' typefaces, not derived from geometric frameworks but created with brushes allowing greater fantasy and freedom. As an elegant italic script, it can accompany all typefaces that are neither script nor Gothic. Reber R41 adapted it for dry transfer lettering around 1989, and the 2024 digital revival extends the original to four weights.
