Dattilo

Dattilo was designed by Aldo Novarese for Nebiolo in 1972 as a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic typewriter. Released by Nebiolo in five styles starting with Chiarissima (light) and Neretta (regular), the typeface achieved immediate success. The modern digital version by Reber R41 (2020), expanded with additional weights and styles (2023), presents a slab serif family with geometric clarity that honors the original typewriter aesthetic.
