Columbia Sans
Columbia is an unorthodox sans serif blend of multiple historical models, initially commissioned by the French monthly magazine Sciences & Avenir. Early drawings resembled a sans serif version of Times New Roman, later extended to include 16th and 17th century typography epitomized by Guillaume Le Bé and Christophe Plantin, as well as the Elzevir style.
