Acier

A self-assumed modernist typeface that mixes functionalist decorative arts, design, and architecture influences, along with urban epigraphy. Emblematic of 19th-century display typography, Acier explores fantastical and three-dimensional aspects fashionable in that era. Originally designed by Cassandre in 1930 and published by Deberny & Peignot, Jean-Baptiste Levée's revival brings Acier into digital form for the first time.
