Lunica

Lunica is a distinctive rounded, monoline typeface with geometric serifs and handwriting-inspired flourishes. Defying conventional serif design with its consistent line weight, Lunica features geometric serifs and rounded endings that enhance its graphic impact, giving it the appearance of an engraving font. Thomas Hirter began developing Lunica in 2006 while living in Stockholm, inspired by cinema subtitles which were often set in basic sans serif stencil typefaces. With no optical corrections except for overshoots on round shapes, Lunica was released in 2014 and has been exclusively distributed by Thomas Hirter since 2016.
