Inclusive Sans
Inclusive Sans is a text font designed for accessibility and readability, inspired by contemporary neo-grotesques while incorporating research-backed features to ensure high legibility across all uses. The typeface prioritizes letter differentiation and spacing as critical for visually impaired and neurodiverse readers. Key design features include clearer character differentiation to prevent similar letters from being confused, open apertures in characters like c, e, and s to prevent closing at small sizes, generous letter spacing for improved legibility, balanced stroke contrast for clarity at all sizes, and a higher x-height for small size readability. Now fully open-source and freely available on Google Fonts, Inclusive Sans 2.0 was released with all five weight variants and supporting over 500 languages worldwide, including 48 glyphs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages.
