From the foundry
Cyrus Highsmith found inspiration for his Ibis series by combining unlikely sources: Justus Erich Walbaum's 1919 Walbaum and Hermann Zapf's 1952 Melior. The display variant features refined serifs and compact spacing, optimized for impactful visual presentation. Available in six weights (Extra Light through Black) with condensed and compressed variants in all weights, plus matching italics. The extensive character set includes Latin Extended, accented characters, small caps, ligatures, superscript/subscript numbers, and stylistic alternates.
