Graphik Devanagari

Commissioned by Commercial Type as the Indic companion to Christian Schwartz's Graphik, Graphik Devanagari is a monolinear Devanagari typeface designed to be a true Devanagari equivalent of Graphik Latin, rather than a simple collection of repeated shapes. It involved careful optical correction to weight, terminals, and counters to balance the visual texture between the two scripts.
