From the foundry
NN Éditeur is a type family that bridges analog nostalgia and digital precision, born from Alexander Colby's fascination with the IBM Golfball typewriter. Discovering the distinctive Light Italic form in an old IBM Selectric specimen, Colby brought this iconic aesthetic into the digital age. The type family consists of three distinct parts—Éditeur Italic, Éditeur Serif, and Éditeur Semi—each reflecting the unique characteristics of classic typewriter design while offering contemporary versatility. A variable font version is available for responsive typography, making Éditeur ideal for editorial and display applications that celebrate typographic history.
