A. ABF Petit

A. ABF Petit is a geometric display typeface designed by Philippe Apeloig for the Association des Bibliothécaires de France (French Librarians Association). Inspired by the concept of an aerial view of a library floor plan, the letterforms suggest worktables, shelves, chairs, and digital research tools like monitors and tablets. Built on geometric forms including solid rectangles, ovals, and dots, ABF Petit presents a unique balance of modularity and expressiveness. The typeface is part of the ten-font Apeloig Type Library, created in collaboration with Nouvelle Noire.
