Voltaire
Voltaire is a single-style Roman drawing on Renaissance forms with a restrained calligraphic influence. Its even color, moderate contrast, and open counters make it well suited to book typography and extended text, while its classical proportions carry through to display settings without strain. Designed without a companion Italic, Voltaire is intended to pair with existing chancery-style italics — giving designers a steady Roman to set against a more expressive counterpart.
