Parsonic
Parsonic is a display typeface inspired by “LETTRES ECCLÉSIASTIQUES” a gem unearthed from an 1895 specimen book by the French foundry S. Berthier & Durey. With its roots in oldies design, Parsonic brings a contemporary twist to the ornate charm of its historic predecessor. Its most eye-catching feature? The distinctive, finely crafted serifs that give each letter an unmistakable presence. The typeface includes a richly drawn set of lowercase symbols and a robust collection of small caps, making it a playground of expressive possibilities. To elevate the fun, Parsonic includes two additional styles: a dynamic italic and a playful backslant, perfect for mixing things up. A variable version takes it a step further.Parsonic channels the spirit of 19th-century Parisian type design with a dash of modern attitude, creating a character set that’s as sophisticated as it is adventurous.
