Ciudadela_LC
Ciudadela_LC is an ornamental display typeface inspired by the artistic blacksmith work found in doors, windows, and balconies throughout Buenos Aires. The typeface's eccentricity derives from the combination of shapes and terminals that echo metalworking techniques and aesthetics. The family consists of four styles—Open, Closed, Casted, and Forged—each progressively introducing more ornamental details and exploring different metalworking techniques. As ornamentation increases across the family, legibility playfully diminishes, transforming the typeface from functional display to artistic interpretation of craftsmanship.
