The collection comprises three connected scripts, one non-connected script, and two all-caps geometric sans serifs (Block letters), offering versatile options for expressive typographic applications. Each typeface features textures and rough edges that simulate handwritten and printed letterpress aesthetics, bringing warmth and humanity to digital design. Developed by self-taught Finnish type designer Mika Melvas, Handelson embodies his transition from art direction to full-time type design and reflects his mastery of calligraphy, hand lettering, and vectorization.
