Triplicate
Triplicate is a monospaced slab serif typeface designed for code samples and technical typesetting, inspired by typewriter fonts such as the IBM Selectric default face. The comprehensive family includes six styles (regular, italic, bold, bold italic, regular caps, bold caps) across two weight grades (A and B), plus three variants: standard, Code (optimized for programming with alternate characters), and Poly (non-monospaced companion). Comprising 132 total font files in OTF, TTF, and WOFF2 formats, the typeface features true italics, real small caps, oldstyle figures, swash caps, and box-drawing characters. Notably, there are no programming ligatures in Triplicate by design. The Code variant specifically optimizes characters for programming and terminal windows, with features tailored to developers. The typeface maintains a contemporary sensibility while honoring the aesthetic heritage of mechanical typewriters.
