Shequalin
A text typeface designed specifically for sophisticated humoristic literature and typographic shenanigans. Shequalin is perfectly suited for satirical poetry, dadaistic works, and escapist fiction, providing playful letterforms that enhance rather than distract from reading. Created as Mark Frömberg's master's thesis for TypeMedia at KABK (Den Haag, Netherlands), the typeface rhythmically incorporates unexpected design oddities while maintaining legibility. The roman and italic were designed independently and then merged, creating a dynamic sense of tension and blatancy. Shequalin includes numerous symbols and vignettes for typographic and visual communication fun.
