From the foundry
Part of the Messanges Superfamily, Messanges Small is based on the same distinctive structure as Messanges Big but adapted specifically for small size typography. The typeface features notches, cuts, and large ink-traps creating an effect of letterforms under attack, where white space and counter-forms have taken control. This aggressive approach results in unique proportions, razor-sharp terminals, and super-tight letter-spacing that create powerful word shapes and crisp paragraph texture, giving Messanges Small an inimitable personality when set at large sizes.
