Chiasso
Chiasso is a constructed, normative grotesque rooted in the SNV, the Swiss road-sign alphabet of 1972, Switzerland's counterpart to DIN. Built on an engineer's logic with true circular o and n, near-monoline strokes and strictly horizontal or vertical terminals, it offers a calm, even appearance while remaining functional. As a variable font it moves through Weight, Width and a Normal-to-Soft-to-Round axis.
