Emperia starts from a simple question. “What would Trajan lowercase look like?” As Latin is a bicameral script that combines different letterforms, contemporary typefaces mainly relies on compromising the monumental structure of uppercase in the design process. However, Emperia takes a counterintuitive approach. It is a historical reinterpretation of the Antique genre.
