Ikat Devanagari
Ikat Devanagari is a multiscript pixel typeface inspired by woven motifs found in ikat fabrics. Designed during the COVID-19 pandemic, it represents a minimal exploration of letterforms with Devanagari letters at only four pixels tall and Latin x-height at three pixels. The typeface draws inspiration from Patola textiles of Gujarat's Patan district and challenges the designer to achieve maximum expressiveness with minimal pixel footprint using the Fontstruct editor.
