LL Numberplate
LL Numberplate is a family of caps-only display typefaces derived from the official car registration plates of various European countries, including Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Luxembourg. Each national version is based on the crude, functional letterforms designed by anonymous engineers for license plate production, and comes in two cuts: one with sharp corners as derived from the stamp tooling, and another with rounded corners for the resulting 'embossed' look.
